  Becca Genne Bacon Becca Genne Bacon is an American Traditional tattoo artist. He work ranges from  mono chrome to color work however the American Traditional style of simple yet affective shading and extreme outlines spans across all of her work. She currently works at Kings Avenue Tattoo in New York city.       She recently continues to branch out her work and test the rules of what most consider American Traditional. She brings in her own concepts and approaches her work in a more contemporary style. 

Nneka Jones

Nneka Jones       Nneka Jones is a multimedia artist who enjoys exploring work such as thread work or embroidery as well as textiles, she also explores things such as paintings like mural work and more intimate small pieces. The topics of her work usually explore though provoking concepts. Her main focus in the topics of her work is the protection of  poc women and young girls.          Her embroidery work has been featured in  Colossal magazine, The Jealous Curator blog, The American Craft Council, Embroidery Mag UK and Domestika               

Joseph Cornell

  Joseph Cornell      Joseph Cornell was an American visual artist and film-maker. Cornell's most characteristic works were assemblage boxes made from objects he found. He also explored the medium of collage however is most recognized for the boxes mentioned before.      Cornell considered himself a surrealist. He lived most of his life in isolation caring for his sickly mother. 

War Artists

Tom Lea      Tom Lea, born in 1907 was an artist, who explored mediums such as murals, illustration and who was also  a novelist and a war correspondent.      Unlike most WW2 era art Leas\'s work differed through it's use of vibrant color. The use of such extreme color capture's the viewers eye, intriguing them and making the reality of the war very jarring. His work was the first painting displayed in the National World War II Museum and is a stark contrast from the monotony of the black and white photos of war.                 Arabella Dorman     Arabella Dorman is a British War Artist. She mainly works in portraits. She is said to be a positive and light energy when working with the subjects of her paintings. She started her career as a war artist in Iraq and Afghanistan.
