Fiona Foley+John Mawurndjul

 Fiona Foley is a contemporary Indigenous Australian Artist. Foley uses her to explore tension between sex, race and history. John Mawurndjul also is an Australian contemporary Indigenous artist. He uses traditional motifs in innovative ways to express spiritual and cultural values. Their art is very different from each others, however they both have sort of the same message behind their work, the message the depicts their culture. I enjoy how edgy some of Foleys work is. i like the abstraction of Mawurndjul’s work, because it kind of goes back to the abstraction of the aboriginal painting.
