Kara Walker

Kara Walker is an American artist born in Stockton California in 1969. Her work is usuallydark silhouettes against a light background. I this her work is super cool and dainty, i like how simple it is. I like how the silhouettes are so emphasized, against the background. I also love the content, how the actions of the silhouettes don’t all feel the same, there’s a variety, some really happy and others that are rather dark and eerie, it’s a nice contrast
